"every victim can be a survivor"
-S. Swinson
art of peace project
We choose art because it's unlimited expression of oneself. Therefore, we encourage survivors to create artwork that express their personal experience. The artwork will be used in various ways to educate, document and increase awareness of sexual assault against women and girls.
was derived from the parable "April showers brings May flowers". April represents women whose abuse left them lost and broken. May speaks to women who reclaimed their lives and are now survivors!
an organization that uses unconventional means to bring awareness to sexual abuse of women while assisting survivors in their healing process.
